Information

I was born in Trieste, in 1978, Italy. My parents are Serbian immigrate and this influenced my childhood. I grow up in a family that was living around the world and it gave me the chance to see and live differents cultures and differents way of living.

Photography enter in my life in a very natural way. When I was 17 I just took the camera of my father and started to go around and take photos to the people. But at the beginnig was like an istinct. When I felt bad I was looking for the camera and the chance to go away and stay alone with myself was the only think that made me fell better. When I was 21, I made my first little exhibition in Trieste, in the Euterpe e Clio cultural club. In those photos there was only emotions, the tecnical aspects were, at that time, unknwon for me. It was in 2006 that I started to think about photography in a different way. I was very confused about it. I didn't have any kind of experience, just photos made for me. It started a period of questions about me and my life, about photography and what it was for me. In the same year I finished the University of Public Relation in the University of Study of Udine, Italy, while I was working for the Magazine "Il Mercatino del FVG" as PR and ideas creator. During the 3 years at the Magazine, the Director, Prof. Antonio Denich, influenced a lot my way of thinking and working. The Director is a very polite and wise person. I learned a lot from him thanks to his genorous desire to share his knowledge. In the same year I fell in love of an Argentinian boy of 21 and one year later I left my job, my friends and my family to go with him and to start my life, to discover myself. From that moment photography started to be something different, unknown, but deeply clear in the process of comunication with myself. I started to make experiments with long exposition...a tecnique, the first one, who gave me the chance to re-create my feeling, my thoughs, doubts, emotions, and dialogs of my mind. One part of me was, is, strong, fearless, full of positive energy, free in armony: the instinc part and then, the other one. This part knows that rules exists, everywhere, since when i was 5 years old I learned we have to stay in the rules even if my istinc tell me to do the thinks in a differnt ways, not better or worse, just different, in my personal way. So, at the age of 29 (a "magic" number for me) I decided to know what and who I was... All the phography made with long exposition is the first experiment to capture what was happening inside me.

Now we are in 2010, and a lot, a lot and a lot of things happened...I got married with the Argentinian man who made me discover what Love means, I had a little girl, Aprile, who now is 2 years old, this magical and completly Natual event gave me the chance to understand that Life is the best Gift I had ever received and gave. Photography is part of me, of my way of being and living, cause is my natural art expression.
